The problem
Older buildings rarely take a standard product
- 01
Nothing off the shelf fits
Older buildings and awkward openings need steelwork made for them.
- 02
Two trades, two programmes
When the same team makes the steel and fits the security, there is nobody to blame in the middle.
- 03
Access that has to comply
Ramps and handrails have to meet access requirements as well as look right.
- 04
Repairs, not replacements
A damaged gate or barrier can often be repaired.

Why MerFen
One firm makes it, fits it and keeps it working
Most installers fit what a manufacturer sells them. We make the physical side ourselves, so the specification starts with the site.
