Built into the screen frame, so speech carries without a separate unit or power.

Does speech transfer need power?
Not always. Speech through the screen mullions is passive. Electronic speech enhancement is powered, and is used where it is noisy.
What is a Melaphone?
A counter intercom that carries speech through a transparent diaphragm. There is no opening through the screen, which suits pharmacies, surgeries and anywhere hygiene matters.
Can it be added to a counter we already have?
Sometimes. It depends how the counter and screen are built. We will tell you at survey.
