How is the BTW1 different from a pay window?
It has no tray or speech system. Staff pass documents and small items through a latched transfer opening, 465mm wide by 170mm high, below the glazing.
How is the transfer opening secured?
It closes with a mild steel latch behind a stainless steel shield plate, and the window locks with a night latch.
What glass does the BTW1 use?
11.5mm 3-ply attack-resistant glazing. If your specification calls for a particular BS EN 356 class, tell us and we will confirm it when we quote.
Does it need maintenance?
It is designed to be maintenance free.
