FB4 bullet-resistant steel access door
Where a counter is glazed to FB4, the door beside it has to hold the same line. This is a welded steel door and frame built to that standard, either at the standard size or to the opening you have.

What you are getting
- Standard door size 990 × 2090mm to suit a 1000 × 2100mm structural opening, or made to a specified opening
- Suits a normal 225mm reinforced brick opening
- Outward opening, left or right hand hinged as standard
- Frame in 100 × 50 × 3mm RHS to the sides and head, with a 100 × 3mm bottom rail, mitred and continuously welded at the top corners
- Rebated threshold, teardrop seal to the door stop, and frame anchors at maximum 300mm centres

What does FB4 mean for a door?
FB4 is a BS EN 1522 class for a complete door, window or frame, tested against a .44 Magnum handgun. A door beside an FB4 counter needs the same rating, or it becomes the weak point.
What size is the FB4 door?
990 × 2090mm as standard, to suit a 1000 × 2100mm structural opening. It can also be made to a specified opening size.
What wall does it fit into?
It suits a normal 225mm reinforced brick opening, with frame anchors at maximum 300mm centres.
Which way does it open?
Outward, hinged left or right hand as standard.
